New Enrollment Process for Spring '08- Please READ! The campus has moved to a new information system, AIS, that requires you to enroll through your Student Portal or http://my.ucsc.edu. If you need technical support, including help with your student ID and password, please call (831)459-4357 or email help@ucsc.edu. If you need help enrolling in a class, call the enrollment Help Line at (831)459-4412 or email registrar@ucsc.edu. Before contacting the BioAdvsing office for enrollment assistance: 2. Do you have the prerequites required to enroll in the course? If you do NOT have the prerequisites, only a permission number from the instructor will allow you to enroll. Our office does not issue permission numbers. Students need to attend the first class meeting and request a permission number from the instructor. If you DO have the prerequisistes but are unable to enroll contact us: bioadvise@biology.ucsc.edu 3. Is the course full? If you are unable to enroll in a biology course during the enrollment period and would like to request a permission code, you MUST attend the first day of class/lab and sign up on the permission code request list. Permission codes are given as space is available. Priority for enrollment will be given to graduating seniors. The BioAdvising Office does NOT issue permission codes. 4. Do you need the course to graduate? If you need a course to graduate, let us know: bioadvise@biology.ucsc.edu. We may be able to help you. 5. Does enrollment in the course require an application or interview with the instructor? Enrollment conditions restrict enrollment in some courses. Students may be required to fill out an application or interview with the instructor to enroll. Check out our Enrollment Conditions for instructions on how to enroll. QUESTIONS: Contact BioAdvising
