PERMISSION CODE PROTOCOL
The Biological Sciences has a strict permission code protocol that governs the administration of permission codes at the beginning of each academic quarter...
|
Any student unable to enroll in a BIOL or BIOE course MUST attend the first day of class to request a permission code. |
|
Each student must complete the permission code request form at the first class meeting. |
|
The instructor submits the list to the department. |
|
The department notifies the instructor of which students have satisfied the course prerequisites and which have not. |
|
The department provides the instructor with a set of permission codes. |
|
The instructor adminsters permission codes at the second class meeting. |

| NOTE: Emailing instructors in advance of the first class meeting will not enable you to enroll in the course. Instructors are not issued permission codes until after the first class meeting. |
