Biological Sciences Undergraduate Program
|
Biological Sciences offers a wide array of research opportunities for our undergraduate students. Participation in programs and coures like these is extremely valuable, particularly for students intending to go on to graduate studies. We have special funding from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute to provide biomedical research training to undergraduates. Unique field research programs are offered, like our Biol 162ABCD Marine Ecology Field Quarter in Moorea, French Polynesia in which students go out into the field to conduct their own individual research projects and Biol 165ABCD Ecology and Conservation in Practice Supercouse which is an intensive on-site learning experience in terrestrial field ecology and conservation. Biol 183F/183L Undergraduate Research in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Biol 186F/186L Undergraduate research in MCD Biology are ways for students to conduct undergraduate research under the supervision of a faculty member.
