Academic Excellence Honors Program (ACE) Supported
by the Division of Physical
& Biological Sciences this award-winning program promotes diversity
in the sciences through academic support services.
California Alliance for Minority
Participation (CAMP) CAMP is a statewide initiative that aims to support
and retain ethnically underrepresented undergraduates to achieve their
degrees in the biological
sciences, physical sciences, mathematics, and engineering. CAMP programs
motivate participants through cooperative learning, internships, faculty
mentored research, and travel to professional conferences.
The CAREER CENTER is a valuable
resource for any student planning their life after graduation, we highly

EDUCATION ABROAD PROGRAM Many science
majors think this program is not available to them due to their rigorous
course requirements. Not true. Come in to the BioAdvising
Office early in your academic career and we may be able to help you
plan to study abroad.
EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY PROGRAMS (EOP) Provide
academic and personal support services to promote the academic success
of educationally disadvantaged, first-generation college, and low-income
students. Check out the EOP

HEALTH CAREERS ADVISING These services are now offered through the Career Center. This office provides
information and assistance for all students interested
in pursuing health professions.
UC LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE THROUGH ADVANCED DEGREES (UC LEADS) An academic
program designed to educate California's future leaders by preparing promising
students for advanced education in the biological sciences through
educational and research experience.
MINORITY ACCESS to RESEARCH CAREERS (MARC) and MINORITY BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH
SUPPORT (MBRS) Offers support services to students of minority status
interested in pursuing research careers in the sciences.
COUNSELING & PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES Offers students a variety of counseling services for personal, academic, social, or family concerns; including individual or personal counseling, group counseling, couples and family counseling, crisis counseling, and behavioral stress reduction services.
SERVICES TO TRANSFER AND RE-ENTRY
STUDENTS (STARS) Provides academic and personal support programs and
services to transfer and re-entry students.
